On the 27 and 28 of March our partners from Fundacja XBW and EDU SMART met during 2 days workshop in Poland as part of Action 1 as part of the KA210 VET Strategic Partnership in Poland under the Education and Vocational Training sector in the Erasmus+ program co-funded by the European Union 🇪🇺 📣 🔝🔝🔝
Future leaders of ESG in the business sector met to transfer the knowledge between experts from XBW 🇵🇱 and EDU SMART 🇮🇪
During 2 days workshops we discussed the Desk Research outcomes, report components, graphics and 2 language versions of the report. We have also planned focus groups, so that our report has a solid expert background. During the meeting, we also selected key topics for partners, within which educational materials in the field of ESG will be created.
DAY 1
Day 1 was all about the Cultural Diversity and Cultural Conflict in workplace as part of the ESG strategy – Cultural Diversity at the workplace in the EU.
The goal of this workshop was to grasp a soft understanding of multiculturalism – cultural conflict mediation in workplaces and how they can be managed and executed with respect to employees’ religious and cultural differences and also to provide an overview of the importance of cultural diversity in the workplace based on Irish best practice and the perseverance of S of the ESG.
XBW 🇵🇱 and EDUS 🇮🇪 experts gained an understanding of the benefits of cultural diversity in the workplace, the various types of cultural conflicts that can arise, and the strategies that can be used to effectively manage and mediate these conflicts through this presentation based on the EU experience.
Finally, the workshops aimed to provide practical recommendations and insights to employers in the European Union and Poland on how to create a more inclusive and harmonious workplace that values and respects their employees’ cultural diversity which will be used in our final report as part of Activity 1.
DAY 2
Day 2 was all about Agriculture and Environment which is a big part of an Irish heritage and culture and part of ESG.
During day 2 experts from EDUS 🇮🇪 and XBW 🇵🇱 discuss the topic of agriculture that relates to the cultivation of crops and grazing of animals for food, raw materials, and secondary produce in Ireland, Poland and EU in overall. We focussed on preparation of plant and animal items for human utilisation and distribution of products to retailers also falls under agriculture. In addition, most of the textiles in the world are produced by agriculture, generating produces such as leather, wool, and cotton. Products such as paper and construction timber are also created.
We also visited PGE Narodowy Stadium and Centre of capital city of Poland, Warsaw ⭐️
It were 2 super days of workshops!
